B54 MAX The B54 MAX battery-powered front light with up to 3,000 lumens in high beam is Supernova's brightest battery-powered headlight with StVZO approval. The full power of 30 high-performance LEDs in two separate optical systems ensures perfect illumination. The latest daytime running light technology is now also available in a battery-powered version and ensures maximum safety during the day. At dusk, the elegantly backlit SUPERNOVA logo becomes visible. The highly efficient low beam with only 5 W consumption is a pleasant companion on all routes with oncoming traffic. A special feature of this new variant is that all brightness levels of low beam and high beam can be freely adjusted within the legally defined limits. This means that the headlight can be ideally adapted to the respective application, for tough daily use on the way to work as well as on a continental crossing. The new battery, which is perfectly protected in a full carbon housing, is guaranteed for 5 years when used in long-life mode. The Supernova service promise: 5 years warranty and at least 10 years repairability for all light systems! Accurate to the minute: A precise battery management controller integrated into the battery enables a temperature-independent, minute-by-minute remaining light display for all brightness levels in the SUPERNOVA app. The status is displayed on the battery itself with an RGB LED. Battery heating: The optimum charging temperature of a battery is around 20°C. This is why Supernova's high-tech battery, like a modern electric car, has an integrated battery heater to ensure the optimum charging temperature when it is too cold. If the temperature exceeds 40°C, charging is automatically prevented until the temperature has dropped again. Longlife mode: Longlife mode ensures a particularly long service life for the battery cells. In this mode, a special processor-controlled charge prevents the cells from overheating during the charging process. The battery is only charged to 85% in this mode, which extends its service life. Light sensor: The light sensor in the battery enables intelligent activation of the low beam when darkness falls or there is a sudden change in light, for example when driving through a tunnel. Backup light: No more standing in the dark: Two hours of ECO low beam are always automatically available to you after the normal light time has expired. This mode is still significantly brighter than many other headlights on the market. Hibernation mode: If you do not use the battery for a longer period of time, you can simply put it into hibernation mode. It is then kept at optimum voltage on the charger. This stops the chemical ageing of the battery almost completely. Deep discharge is prevented.
