While retaining the adventure-chasing soul of the original, its adaptability is enhanced with modern features and much requested details. Tom Ritchey has designed the latest version of the Ascent as do-it-all adventure bike so that others can experience the same thrills while enjoying renowned riding experience. The frame is TIG-welded with heat-treated, triple-butted Ritchey Logic steel tubing and features rack and fender mounts as well as a multi-purpose mount under the down tube. The steel fork is no less versatile, offering multi-purpose, rack, mudguard and dynamo light mounts. Other features of the Ritchey Ascent frameset include compatibility with Postmount disc brakes, Boost spacing and a replaceable seat collar.
