The rim construction is based on the lightest carbon that can be produced via OCLV process, which in combination with the specially matched profile depth of 51 mm offers ultimate speed and maximum versatility. With an inner rim width of 23 mm, the Tubeless Ready rims also roll noticeably more comfortably and create a low aerodynamic drag increasing the maximum speed, too. The extremely lightweight hubs with the proven internals of the legendary DT Swiss 240 models ensure especially smooth running. In the rear wheel, the Ratchet EXP freewheel system not only ensures a spontaneous response, it also makes the hub lighter, stiffer, more precise, more reliable and easier to maintain. OCLV (Optimum Compaction Low Void) OCLV Carbon is Trek's patented process in carbon fiber processing and the result of more than 25 years of bike and component design experience.
