Equipped with a SRAM 8-Bolt interface, the crank arms are suitable for mounting Direct-Mount chainrings as well as power meter spiders and are compatible with both 1-speed and 2-speed drivetrains. Alugear offers the VEGA models in a variety of biomechanically optimized crank arm lengths to meet not only the preferences of the riders, but also the high demands on ergonomics and performance. The advantages of shorter arm lengths lie in the more compact riding position, which reduces air resistance and increases speed accordingly. In addition, the joints are less stressed due to the reduced knee flexion, which reduces the risk of injury, especially in long-distance use. In turn, a more even cadence improves comfort and efficiency on any terrain.
