The Tubolito Tubo-MTB bicycle tube combines lower weight with increased safety. At 29" inches, the Tubolitos save more than 100 grams per wheel compared to standard butyl tubes - with twice as high puncture protection in terms of punctures. In addition, the pack size is reduced by almost half. Tubolitos are easy to mount and a lightweight alternative to tubeless technology. The material can be stretched more than four times, providing maximum protection against a puncture. Tubolito hoses under test A 0.75 mm test mandrel travels at a defined speed through a pre-drilled hole in the casing. Tire pressure is 2.0 bar. The force and the distance to the tire burst are recorded. Tubolito is clearly convincing here: the puncture resistance is twice as high as that of standard tubes in terms of puncture. Note: Only for bicycles with disc brakes. Not suitable for rim brakes!
