The Syncros Duncan SL Aero CFT seatpost is one of the most innovative features of the new Scott Foil RC. Made from unidirectional woven carbon, it is impressively light and strong. It also features a two-piece profile where the front part flexes under load or on rough surfaces for maximum comfort. It is also possible to fit a Syncros Campbell 20 rear light in place of the cover, without compromising the aerodynamic profile of the post. Note: The seatpost is compatible only with the Scott Foil 3 RC and the Scott Plasma TT. The SL Carbon Layup, developed specifically for Scott RC bikes, achieves the same strength with an average of 10% less weight compared to conventional manufacturing processes. In combination with the unidirectional arrangement of the Carbon fibers, which ensures a higher tensile strength and stiffness, can thus be achieved at lower weight, a high stability of the component.
