With the M99 DY Pro, Supernova heralds a new era of dynamo lighting in 2021. It is the world's first dynamo-operated LED headlight with high beam function and German road approval. Thanks to new innovative control electronics, it achieves light values of over 1000 lumens and 200 lux with its matrix of 11 LEDs in high beam mode, twice as bright as the brightest E3 Triple dynamo headlight to date and even brighter than most e-bike headlights. For the first time, the award-winning M99 technology is now also used in the dynamo range. The highly efficient matrix of 11 high-performance LEDs harmonizes perfectly with the reflector manufactured in 7 nanometer precision. In high beam mode, rapid descents and winding roads become a wonderful experience. For the first time, the brightness increases without limit the faster you go. During the day, a light sensor automatically switches to an energy-saving 1W daytime running light mode. When driving through a tunnel, the powerful low beam with up to 700 lumens of luminous flux is activated in a fraction of a second. In addition to all these technical records, the M99 DY Pro also heralds a new era of products that are not only "climate neutral" but even make a positive contribution to environmental and climate protection. The CO2 emissions generated during the production of this product are even compensated in double by supporting projects for the preservation of biodiversity in the rainforest. Many rear lights from other manufacturers require alternating current to function correctly. We therefore cannot guarantee the correct function of rear lights from other manufacturers. If in doubt, please check the connection requirements of your rear light. In principle, the M99 DY Pro is suitable for operation with any standard 6V/3W hub dynamo. The SONdelux from the manufacturer Schmidts Original hub dynamo is an exception. Due to the flatter voltage curve of this model, the M99 DY Pro does not reach its full output and the high beam is only available at a significantly higher speed. The SON28 is more suitable.
