Fizik Vento Argo R1 Light Saddle - 150mm
VENTO ARGO R1 LIGHT is a performance racing saddle with a short-nose design that improves stability and allows for a more aggressive, aerodynamic riding position - combined with lightweight EVA padding and carbon light. Argo R1 Light is an advanced short-nose saddle designed to promote stability while reducing pressure on soft tissue in a wide range of riding situations - even in aggressive, aerodynamic positions. With a generous central cutout, lightweight EVA padding, carbon rail, and a carbon-reinforced nylon shell, Argo R1 Light combines comfort with competition-oriented performance. Features of the Fizik Vento Argo R1 Light saddle: R1 Light construction Designed for low weight and high-performance riding, the R1 Light construction combines a carbon-reinforced nylon shell with ultra-stiff carbon rails for a responsive, lightweight platform. Injected EVA padding provides low-profile, reactive damping that offers comfort and support without compromising the ergonomic shape or adding thickness. The result: a saddle that reduces weight without compromise - ideal for long, fast days in the saddle. Race-wide support Argo is our most versatile saddle shape, with each version tailored to different riding styles. As a racing option, Vento Argo is designed for modern road bikes with aggressive geometry. The targeted shape of the design helps cyclists achieve a better seating position, as the lowered saddle nose supports the pubic bone when the pelvis rotates forward to transfer more power or adopt a more aerodynamic position. Short-nose stability & pressure relief While a traditional saddle shape encourages riders to change position frequently to achieve better leverage, Argo puts them in a more stable position, providing greater stability and better weight distribution. The short length of the Vento Argo allows riders to sit further forward without putting excessive pressure on sensitive areas. It also features an ergonomic cutout developed with detailed pressure analysis and input from medical experts.
