If your frame has UDH but you’re riding a Shimano or Campagnolo rear derailleur with a B-Link (the small component between the derailleur hanger and the derailleur), the Steigbügel is a worthwhile upgrade. The B-Link is eliminated, making the connection to the frame stiffer, which ensures more precise and faster shifting. You also save 8 g in weight and get a cleaner look. Compatible with all Shimano and Campagnolo direct-mount rear derailleurs. Current Shimano MTB rear derailleurs are not designed for direct mount and are therefore not compatible.
