Light Shimano hub dynamo for urban use The Shimano DH-UR705-3D hub dynamo is not only compact but also 28 grams lighter than Deore XT Trekking series' DH-T8000-3D thanks to an innovative internal unit construction. With an overall weight of just 477 grams it is perfect for urban use but suits also road bikes. A lower rotational resistance and a more efficient wheel rotation which are achieved by edesigned ring magnetes and angular contact bearings, reduce dynamo drag by up to 44 % compared to the DH-T8000. Contact sealings ensure durable resistance against weather and wear. The hub dynamo offers 6 volt at a power of 3 watt and is suitable for Centerlock brake discs.
