Shimano Deore XT WH-M8120 27.5" rear wheel The Shimano Deore XT WH-M8120-TL 29 inch rear wheel is characterized by a faster acceleration which amplifies riding excitement. While doing so 28 double butted J-Bend spokes ensure the wheel's stability making it very tenable and reliable. To provide dependable Trail performance the rear wheel uses a 12 mm E-Thru axle. Last but not least the wheel features a Centerlock disc brake mount and the Micro Spline freewheel which makes it possible to install Shimano 12-speed cassettes. Micro Spline The aluminium freewheel with 22 evenly spaced teeth keeps the cassette firmly under control for immediate response and also allows the use of a 10 teeth sprocket. In addition, the smaller and compared to the usual Hyperglide freewheel bodies more extensive gearing prevents rotor damage. Version for 12 x 148 mm E-Thru Boost axles.
