The POC Otocon Race MIPS helmet gives new meaning to the concept of a lightweight full-face helmet. The well-ventilated helmet weighs less than 750g and features integrated technologies such as Mips® rotational impact protection, twICEme® NFC Medical ID and a RECCO® reflector for increased safety. The dual-material liner balances durability and weight for all-day comfort and protection. Features such as the Race Lock integrated adjustment system, internal ventilation channels and removable cheek pads provide added comfort and safety whether you're riding downhill or going hard uphill on an enduro transfer stage. Features of the POC Otocon Race MIPS helmet MIPS The MIPS brain protection system offers improved protection in the event of rotational impact. twICEme® NFC Medical ID The twICEme® NFC Medical ID enables access to important medical data and emergency contacts. RECCO® reflector The RECCO® reflector helps the emergency services to find you quickly and easily in the event of an accident. EPP inner shell EPP in the lower part of the helmet improves stability and sustainability, while an EPS upper material keeps the weight low. Injection-molded inner shell The lower part of the inner shell consists of an injection-molded cage for added strength and stability. Aramid bridges Aramid bridges are molded into the helmet shell to increase structural stability and improve penetration protection. PC shell The outer shell is made of PC to ensure exceptional durability. Race Lock The integrated Race Lock adjuster makes it easy to adjust for a comfortable, secure fit. Breakaway visor The patented Breakaway visor snaps off the helmet in the event of a fall, improving neck protection. The smooth underside is shaped to accommodate a GoPro mount. Strong ventilation Ventilation has been optimized to channel air through the helmet for increased comfort at both high and low speeds. Removable cheek pads The cheek pads can be easily removed while riding and provide better ventilation on the climbs between enduro race stages. Removable grille The grille in the chin section protects the face from mud splashes. It can be removed for better air circulation in warmer, drier conditions.
