The seamlessly integrated FLOAT Glidecore air suspension reduces friction and resistance by moving with the fork under dynamic loads. This movement is controlled and damped by o-rings with a large cross-section, which are particularly effective at reducing initial friction. The result is noticeably smoother operation. High Stiffness. Low Friction. Based on experience gained with the Podium suspension fork, FOX has increased the bushing overlap by 20 mm for the 38 model. The result is a 9 % increase in axial stiffness while simultaneously reducing friction under load at high speeds. The redesigned arch further optimizes torsional stiffness to improve steering responsiveness and handling.
