Weather protection: The outside of the outer material offers protection from the elements: The multi-layered, durable ripstop fabric is tear & abrasion resistant. A PU-laminated toe cap and side reinforcements provide additional protection and durability, while the integrated, sock-like knitted gaiter seals out dust and dirt. Closure system: The solid Velcro fastener fixes the instep quickly and securely, while the adjustable BOA IP1 twist closure enables precise adjustment. Outsole: The X2 outsole has been developed to offer an optimal balance between efficient pedaling performance and flexibility - both on the bike and on foot. Vibram rubber sole with EVA midsole: The EVA midsole provides stability and cushioning, while the Vibram Megagrip rubber tread ensures grip and traction in all ground conditions. Cleat profile: The cleat profile was developed for secure grip on normal pedals. The pattern and depth have been designed to grip softer ground, but also provide good grip on smooth surfaces.
