The Crest MK4 raises the bar for Gravel and XC wheels to a new level. Stan's NoTubes invokes a long tradition of lightweight, durable rims that can be operated without a tube. The MK4 version was made of high quality aluminum and has an asymmetrical design, which provides more stability while reducing weight. Combined with the brand's unmatched airtightness, it is ideal from 40mm Gravel to 2.3" MTB tires for Cross Country use. The innovative M-Pulse-hub has a set of robust enduro bearings in combination with a 17mm axle made of 7075 aluminum. Compared to old hub designs of Stan's, this gives it the ability to withstand twice the load. Another special feature is the adjustable preload, which is to minimize the friction as well as the wear of the bearings. This leads in turn to a smoother running wheel and thus to more speed. In addition, the shielded design of the M-Pulse hub protects the bearings from direct exposure to the elements and thus ensures a long service life. The wheel is rounded off by the proven Sapim D-Light spokes in J-Bend design. They provide the necessary stiffness and their low weight also contributes to the agile handling of the wheel.
