It also prevents hard plastic or sliding surfaces from coming into contact with the skin. 15 Ventilation Openings Giro helmets are equipped with the company’s proprietary Wind Tunnel ventilation system. This sophisticated design combines active vents in the helmet shell with exhaust channels inside the helmet. This allows cool, fresh air to flow over the head while simultaneously drawing heat and stale air out.
