OSPW X – Race-Winning Speed Thanks to its unique design and extremely low-friction bearings, the Oversized Pulley Wheel system (OSPW) manages to optimize the overall efficiency of the drivetrain. The same applies to the OSPW X models, which are specially designed for gravel and cross disciplines. Their successful use in CX World Cups and prestigious races such as Paris-Robaix and Strade Bianche shows that they meet the corresponding requirements for durability, longevity and low friction to a particularly high degree. The handmade OSPW systems consist of a cage as well as an upper and lower pulley, which are matched to the respective rear derailleur type by means of a corresponding number of teeth. In the version for Shimano GRX 2x12-speed rear derailleurs, the concept with oversize derailleur pulleys reduces friction by 35 to 40 % compared to the standard configuration. In addition, the adjustable spring tension enables an individual setup tailored to the riding conditions.
