The outsole of the shoe is comfortably wide in the midfoot area and is made from a composite of carbon fiber and polyamide to balance stiffness and comfort for greater pedaling efficiency. The insoles are supplied by Solestar (as with all Q36.5 models), which place the foot in the optimum neutral position to improve comfort, stability and propulsion.
