FOX DHX Rear Shock - Factory | Coil | Metric | 2-Position - 205x60mm (Trunnion)
DHX – Coil Is King The solution for all riders looking for the ultimate in suspension comfort. The FOX DHX rear shock combines the performance of a coil spring – which allows the suspension to hug the terrain and smooth out bumps – with a wide range of intuitive adjustment options that are unmatched in the all-mountain segment. For the current model, the high-flow main piston assembly has been redesigned to match the suspension performance of the DHX2 rear shock. The results are increased sensitivity, more support and even better rear-wheel traction. As a representative of the Factory series, this rear shock is of course also packed with functions to exceed the expectations of professionals and ambitious amateur athletes. The features include a wide range of adjustment options for compression, rebound and spring preload. Technical details of the FOX DHX rear shock series: Factory adjustability via lever: 2 positions (Open / Firm) low-speed compression (LSC): 11 clicks low-speed rebound (LSR): 16 clicks weight: starting at 465 g (without spring; manufacturer information) Terrain Adaptable Tuning. While the multi-stage adjustment lever for low-speed compression ensures consistently perfect support, the optionally engageable Firm mode enables more efficient power transfer during climbs. Thanks to the wide adjustment range for the rebound, the DHX rear shock can also be optimally tuned to different terrain and the rider’s preferences. All-Mountain Plushness. The piggyback reservoir increases oil volume and provides a second compression circuit for enhanced sensitivity over bumps, better tire grip and consistent performance on descents. Its length is individually tailored to the specific shock size to reduce weight and improve fit on the frame.
