The ENVE SES Road tire is a tubeless tire built according to the ENVE philosophy "real-world fast". The tire offers best-in-class aerodynamics while providing a balanced blend of durable reliability, low rolling resistance, puncture protection, user-friendly tubeless setup and a lightweight design. The ENVE tire is optimized for use on ENVE SES wheels, but also offers ideal drag reduction for non-ENVE wheels. The 29c version is on par with the leading tires at 32 km/h, but its aerodynamic advantage becomes more pronounced at 48 km/h. On Non-ENVE wheels, the tires still achieve an aero advantage over the industry benchmark, being up to 2 watts more efficient at 48 km/h. The "breakaway" tread design of the SES tire aids in airflow attachment, meaning no aero advantage is lost at the tire to rim interface. The tire's hybrid shape provides an aerodynamic advantage over round treads when inflated, while offering better handling and rolling resistance than elliptical shaped tires, living up to ENVE's ability to produce components that are both everyday and race ready.
