Extremely limited edition with special Cerakote coating The OSPW X is a very special gear wheel system from CeramicSpeed, because it has been made even more powerful thanks to Cerakote coating. This version is limited by the manufacturer, per color, to only 100 pieces. The system consists of a carbon reinforced polymer cage with Cerakote coating and upper and lower pulley. The gear wheels are made of aluminum and have a Narrow-Wide tooth profile to improve chain retention. What is Cerakote? Cerakote is a polymer-ceramic composite coating that features extreme durability, hardness, and scratch and corrosion resistance. The coating is well known in the automotive and aerospace industries for its ability to withstand the harshest conditions. For even greater durability, both idlers are equipped with coated ceramic bearings. Their entire running surfaces are coated with an extremely thin (2-3 microns) protective layer that is 75% harder than hardened steel. This not only further reduces friction, but also makes the bearings less susceptible to contamination.
