The lightweight Giro Coalition™ Spherical combines Spherical Technology™ powered by Mips® and Progressive Layering featuring both EPP and EPS foam, with best-in-class ventilation and the added protection of our innovative Halo System chinbar. Features HALO SYSTEM CHINBAR The Halo System combines a chinbar with Pebax® (a material that is engineered to provide the perfect range of flex and rigidity) and elastomeric bushings that are integrated into the EPS to absorb and dissipate kinetic forces. SPHERICAL TECHNOLOGY Spherical Technology's ball-and-socket design, powered by Mips®, helps redirect impact forces away from the brain by allowing the outer liner to rotate around the inner liner during a crash. It also eliminates contact with hard plastic or slip-planes against the skin.
