Thanks to manual work, not only is precise manufacturing quality achieved, but the well-known, brand-typical reliability is also ensured. Tubeless Ready | Tubeless tires offer some decisive advantages over the conventional combination of tire and tube. The tire can be ridden with less pressure without risking "snakebites" and therefore offers more grip. The lower pressure also ensures a more comfortable ride. The absence of the inner tube means that there is no friction between the inner tube and the tire and therefore less rolling resistance when riding off-road and over obstacles. Ratchet LN freehub system | Apart from providing the legendary sound of DT Swiss rear hubs, the ratchet is also responsible for the much appreciated reliability of the freehub system. Compared to pawl freehubs, the Ratchet System offers superior reliability when meshing due to a larger area of contact surface. The forces can be distributed evenly over larger areas and smaller peak loads are achieved. The result is greater reliability and longer life, allowing the rider to concentrate on the essentials. Pro Lock Technology | The DT Pro Lock spoke nipples prevent the spoke-nipple connection from loosening on its own. A patented two-component adhesive is injected into the nipple thread, enabling the construction of extremely durable wheels. As soon as the nipples are screwed in, the adhesive is activated and then hardens completely. Repeated re-centering is possible without any problems, although the adhesive strength decreases slightly with each re-centering.
