The impetus for the Perfetto RoS 2 W Wind Jersey came from our pros: they appreciated the Gabba, but wanted a slightly thinner and less warm version. These criteria gave birth to the lighter and more breathable Perfetto Light. With the fourth generation, we also changed the name from Perfetto Light to Perfetto RoS 2 W Wind Jersey. And it has become a staple in our fall and spring wardrobe because it is useful in so many situations... which makes it very hard to define. On the one hand, it's a warmer vest because it has the same construction as the Perfetto RoS 2 W Vest, just with short sleeves. On the other hand, it is a less warm gabba. Or a jersey with high wind protection at the front. No matter how YOU define it, you will appreciate that it offers just the right amount of protection on cool days while remaining highly breathable. You feel warm and protected, but almost enjoy the lightweight feel and freedom of movement of a summer jersey. On mild days, we wear it as a jersey over a lightweight baselayer, with seamless arm warmers. In cooler or changeable conditions, we wear it over a jersey, either with Seamless or Nano Flex arm warmers. The "2" in the name refers to the update to the latest version, including a YKK® Vislon® 2-way zipper for more adjustable ventilation. The reflective trims on the back are more visible, the back pockets offer more volume. And the back section is slightly less elongated to reduce the pack size. With only one base layer, it is a windproof jersey for mild conditions. Alternatively, you can wear it over a jersey like a vest with extra protection for the shoulders. Lightweight, breathable wind protection on the front with water repellent properties on all sides.
