While the wireless technology ensures precise, ultra-fast and smooth shifting, the Shadow ES construction already familiar from the XTR and Deore XT models ensures a slim, wedge-shaped low profile design. The result is fewer edges that could come into contact with obstacles on the trail and a correspondingly reduced risk of stone strikes or hits. In the event of an impact, the RD-M6250 rear derailleur not only absorbs it, but is also immediately returned to its original position with the help of the automatic recovery function. Furthermore, the new chain stabilization technology with its double spring design ensures higher chain tension and correspondingly better chain retention. To extend the service life, the wide, cleverly arranged struts in conjunction with the skid plates and robust derailleur pulleys minimize the risk of dirt ingress. No less well protected is the battery (not included), which is housed inside the rear derailleur housing and cannot slip even in rough terrain, but can still be easily removed when the next charge is due.
