No.42 CF/ACB - 8.7mm High-quality, fully integrated aluminium headset for tapered 1.5 - 1 1/8 inch steerer. With carbon fiber top cover and high-quality cone made of aluminium. Upper bearing 1 1/8 inch - 45°/45° ACB (Campagnolo compatible). Lower bearing 1.5 inch - 36°/45° ACB . The FSA No.42/ACB carbon headset has the following mounting sizes - upper bearing inner/outer: 42/46 mm, lower bearing inner/outer 52/56 mm. Ahead-headset building classes: Ahead-headsets are divided into the "classical" building class, the semi integrated "Press Fit" and the full integrated "Drop In" headsets. The "classical" version has a bearing which is located outside the steerer tube. "Press Fit" and "Drop In" headset bearings are located inside the steerer tube which results in a lower stack height. In contrast to "Press Fit" headsets "Drop In" headsets don't have to be pressed in. The bearing rests directly on the angled (36° or 45°) surface of the steerer tube.
