The Artica X2 is an MTB shoe with a waterproof, breathable and insulated construction. It was developed to support the rider in winter conditions. With its cozy insulated fleece lining and insole, riders' feet stay dry and warm when temperatures drop. Weather protection: The outside of the upper material offers protection from the elements: The multi-layer, durable ripstop fabric is tear & abrasion resistant. A PU-laminated toe cap and side reinforcements provide additional protection and durability. Closure system: The BOA L6 twist closure allows for precise adjustment, while the zippered ankle cuff ensures that even the worst weather stays outside. Outsole: The X2 outsole has been developed to offer an optimal balance between efficient pedaling performance and flexibility - both on the bike and on foot. Vibram rubber sole with EVA midsole: The EVA midsole provides stability and cushioning, while the Vibram Megagrip rubber tread provides grip and traction in all ground conditions. Cleat profile: The cleat profile was developed for secure grip on normal pedals. The pattern and depth have been designed to grip softer ground, but also provide good grip on smooth surfaces. Extended cleat rail: The X2 has an extended cleat rail for more flexibility when choosing cleat placement. Sole standard: Compatible with all common MTB pedal systems.
