The lightweight and space-saving TPU tube is suitable for both road and off-road applications. Micrometer-thick TPU of the highest quality is processed in seven layers to achieve the best possible airtightness and durability. In order to guarantee the highest material quality and avoid unwanted pressure loss, the hose is not colored. The base of the valve stem is slightly tapered to improve the fit on the rim and reduce unwanted movement while riding. In addition, the valve stem has an internal thread which allows the use of valve extensions or a replacement valve core. Suitable for the following tire dimensions: 40-584 → 60-584 Note: TPU inner tubes must not be used with rim brakes. Strong heat development can lead to sudden pressure loss. A suitable rim tape must be used to protect the TPU hose. Otherwise the inner tube may be damaged. When not fitted, TPU inner tubes may be inflated to a maximum of 0.3 bar. Higher pressure can lead to permanent deformation and render the inner tube unusable.
