This stem combines the retro flair of the 90's with state-of-the-art design and cutting-edge manufacturing processes. All parts from the 5DEV Custom Shop portfolio are carefully crafted by a highly qualified technician. For the titanium stem, a custom-made CNC machine from 5th Axis Workholding is used, which requires three operations for production. And nothing is wasted during the process: 100 % of the chips produced are recycled. The highlight is the Variable Radius Geometry (VRTS). The result is a titanium stem with a 2-bolt clamp that can be easily mounted on handlebars with a rise of up to 80 mm. And that's without washers, scratches or unnecessary effort. Thanks to the pre-tensioned design, changing the handlebar is even easier than with models featuring a 4-bolt construction. Added to this are the fundamental advantages offered by the use of precision-manufactured titanium: maximum stiffness, excellent vibration damping and unparalleled durability.
