SCOTT FOIL RC TRI - Carbon Triathlon Bike - 2026 - cumulus white
SCOTT FOIL RC TRI - Carbon Triathlon Bike - 2026 - cumulus white SCOTT Foil RC TRI- The next generation of aero bicycles The SCOTT Foil RC TRI is particularly popular for its aerodynamics, handling, and speed, especially in short-distance triathlons, and is now available in a triathlon-specific version. As the fastest road bike developed by SCOTT, it remains true to its three core characteristics: high aerodynamics, low weight, and outstanding riding comfort. Tested in the wind tunnel, built for maximum speed – the fastest SCOTT road bike ever. Syncros Duncan SL Aero CFT The patented Syncros Duncan SL Aero CFT seatpost is a key feature of the bicycle. Not only does it improve riding comfort on uneven roads, it also enables efficient power transfer on light gravel or cobblestones. The two-piece construction with a load-bearing front carbon section ensures that the seatpost bends in a controlled manner when subjected to vibrations, effectively acting as a shock absorber. Lower seat stays for comfort All Foil RC models are equipped with lower seat stays. This design increases riding comfort while reducing air resistance. The seat stays are aligned at a 10° angle to direct airflow into the rotating spokes. Aerodynamic tests have shown that this detail significantly increases forward motion efficiency. In addition, the lower seat stays conceal the disc brake calipers, further minimizing drag and creating a clean, harmonious design line. Oversized steerer The large-sized steerer of the Foil RC allows for fully integrated cable routing for both mechanical and electronic shifting. At the same time, it contributes significantly to aerodynamics. It divides the oncoming airflow and reduces air resistance while riding. Lightweight design with optimized carbon layout After analyzing and testing over 300 different frame designs, SCOTT engineers developed an optimized carbon layer structure. This reduced the number of carbon parts and connections by 30% compared to the previous Foil. Precise design details, such as the seat stays and saddle clamp, enable an additional weight saving of 9% without compromising structural stiffness.
