Profile Design Extensions - 39a | Aluminum - 340mm
The main purpose of extensions is to position the hands in a comfortable relationship to the armrests of the aerobar, allowing riders to relax their arms. For the best possible performance and a customized fit for the individual user, Profile Design offers a variety of options that differ in angle, rise, length and offset. Current trends in the fit of aerobars are moving towards a higher hand positioning. The 39a extensions feature a grip angle of 39 degrees with a corresponding rise of 87 mm. The choice between a high alignment or a low orientation for a more open, top-heavy position is left to the rider. The lateral shift (offset) of 7.5 mm each offers the option of a narrower or wider hand position to ensure a relaxed grip even on longer rides and to avoid contact with the shift levers. Of course, attention was also paid to aerodynamic aspects, which is why the aluminum extensions have an optimized shape in the ascending grip area. In contrast, the ergonomically designed end caps are designed to make holding on more comfortable. Technical details of the Profile Design 39a extensions material: aluminum 6061-T6 (anodized) angle / rise: 39° / 87 mm offset: 7.5 mm each outer / inner diameter: 22.2 / 19.2 mm weight: approx. 206 g (400 mm, pair; manufacturer's specification) All Profile Design extensions feature a clamping diameter of 22.2 mm. There are no separate exit openings for cables and wires, as the design provides a direct routing at the end of the extensions. Scope of supply: 1 pair of extensions for aerobars
