Detachable visor/lens In the development process, POC involved the Olympic time trial medalist Gustav Larsson and aerodynamic specialists from Semcon. POC’s conceptual approach to aerodynamics was to look at the rider as one body mass, rather than isolating the head from the rest of the body. POC used CFD aerodynamic simulations for evaluation and optimization. The two air intakes in the front reduce air resistance by leading the air through the helmet and past the shoulders. The outer PC shell is shaped for speed, deflecting air away from the shoulders for the optimum aero profile around the whole body. Turnwheel size adjuster - A lightweight and easy-to-use turnwheel size adjuster gives a comfortable and secure fit. Frontal air intakes reduce air stagnation and dead spots while also channeling air for ventilation. The visor uses a magnetic lens attachment system for ease of use. Can also be used without the visor. Two lenses are included: one clear, one tinted for all conditions.
