The only one of its kind, it enables millimeter-precise adjustment and adaptation of the shoe through a micro-step grid. Michelin Explorer | Northwave developed this sole in collaboration with Michelin Technical Soles to combine XC performance with the necessary traction for safe walking on any terrain. The midsole with calibrated stiffness unleashes pure power in the pedal area, while the more flexible mid zone provides a great ride. The tread, whose pattern is inspired by two Michelin off-road tires, and the outer shell are made of Michelin rubber, which is more wear-resistant than TPU and offers excellent grip in all weather conditions.
