The MOD has an unconventional design which, thanks to CTS technology, allows every rider to fine-tune the suspension easily and effectively. The high flow design of the damping ensures uncompromising reliability. Thanks to its large volume bladder (LV Bladder), the MOD rear shock has very low friction and excellent compliance on small bumps. The purpose of this design is to drastically reduce friction compared to a conventional Internal Floating Piston (IFP) system. This minimizes friction and inertia in the system and achieves excellent sensitivity to small irregularities. High Flow The MOD damper was developed with the High Flow concept in mind. The 30 mm inner piston and the enlarged oil channels give the MOD unique characteristics. The compression and rebound settings remain unchanged even on long descents. All this leads to improved sensitivity, less friction and excellent heat management. The high flow design of the damping allows the MOD to deliver remarkably consistent performance. CTS (Compression Tuning System) The MOD is Formula's first shock with CTS (Compression Tuning System) technology. Formula wanted to have the trademark of its forks on its first in-house MTB damper. Thanks to CTS technology, every rider is able to tune their rear suspension quickly and easily - immediate fine-tuning for everyone!
