Falkenjagd Aristos GT Gravel - Touring bike for gravel and bikepacking The name GT derives from the tradition of "Grand Tourisme": in the past, it referred to large four-seaters with plenty of space and powerful engines that were particularly suitable for longer tours. The Aristos GT takes up this idea—in a modern form as a bike with two wheels. The latest addition to the Aristos family is specially designed for touring and bikepacking, the modern version of touring cycling, often away from paved roads. With the Aristos, GT therefore stands for "Gravel Tourer" – a bike that combines comfort, versatility, and reliability over long distances. On a "normal" bike, the cables get in the way of attaching the bag easily. On the GT, they are routed through the steerer. Also to better accommodate luggage, there are two threaded eyelets for top cases on the top tube. These are practical for storing small items such as your phone, money, documents, and bars that you want to be able to access quickly. This means that the GT has four screw-on points available on the main frame. Classic yet modern The geometry of the GT is based on the CX and R, combining classic elements with integration. The rear triangle and fork are designed for 28" wheels, for tire widths up to 45 mm and 40 mm with fenders. The frame tubes are rounder than on the CX, which not only gives it a more classic look, but also makes it more affordable. Also for price and weight reasons, the GT comes with a carbon fork. It is lighter, cheaper, and offers three threaded eyelets on each side for attaching light luggage. Unlike the titanium fork on the CX and R, however, a front rack cannot be mounted. Comfort Comfort is essential on a touring bicycle to ensure that riders can enjoy a fatigue-free ride for as long as possible. Good vibration damping is indispensable on root-covered trails, rough gravel roads, all-road use, or fast hardpack, and the Aristos GT excels in this area with many comfort features.
