These Shimano SIS-SP40 End Caps for Shifting Housing are made of plastic. To be put on the end of the shifting cable. Sealed with an additional o-ring to minimize risk of corrosion. Fits SIS-SP40 and SIS-SP41 shifting housings. Note: If the cap is not installed correctly, the performance of the Shimano Index System could be affected. Fits a shifting housing diameter of 4mm.
